Are you still able to speak Mandarin? (assuming that was the dialect you grew up with in China)

I lost all ability to speak my native dialect of Hainanese after my paternal grandmother passed away. It's a shame really. Wish I kept practicing and speaking it because it really is a good reminder of your family's history.
