Elections Have A Bigger Impact Than You May Think
I think by now everyone around the world would know of the conflict that’s currently happening in Ukraine. But if for some reason you don’t, then you should know that Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, has ordered an invasion of Ukraine — basically starting a war.
So far, The Ukraine army has been fighting back but there has been quite a significant number of civilian casualties. From what I’ve read, it’s just under 200 right now.
But that number could very well increase as the days go by.
Putin’s reasoning for this is because he wants to “demilitarise and de-Nazifying” Ukraine, claiming he wants to safeguard people subjected to bullying and genocide.
If you think the reasoning is dumb as fuck, you are right. It’s just an excuse for him to invade Ukraine so he can try to create another Soviet Union — this is what a lot of people are suspecting as Putin’s real reason for invading Ukraine.
Whatever reason it is for this invasion, one thing is clear — he’s a madman and he needs to stop or be stopped.
