Hi Carolyn, I think you might have mistaken your addition to the publication. You’re an editor of the publication, not to edit the work of others. The reason why you’re an editor is so that you can publish your own work at your own leisure, without needing to wait for others to do it for you.

99% of the writers here are editors. This is so everyone can publish their own work without needing to wait a long time as is the case with some of the bigger publications.

I’m not asking you to edit the work of other writers, but to just publish your own work whenever you feel like it. The rule here is to not edit the work of others. I’ve stated that in the publication rules. :)

So, you can continue being an editor here and publish your work whenever you want to or if you feel you don’t want to keep getting email notifications whenever someone submits their work, you can let me know and I will change your status from editor to writer. You can still contribute but you will have wait until I publish it.
