Hi Paul, I can sympathize with you in the sense that it took a really long time before Stripe was available in my country. But there are apparently other ways you can earn money on the MPP even if your country isn’t in the list of countries that Stripe supports. You can try and read the article below to see if it will help you.
Also, if your work is mostly on poems and short stories, I believe these three publications would be good for you to publish your articles in.

The editor for a Few Words, Agnes Louis is another amazing woman and she helped me get started with publishing in a publication when I had no other publications to publish in. She might be able to help you be a writer on her publication.
The editor for Blue Insights, Francine Fallara is also another amazing woman and her poems are amazing too. Have a chat with her and see if she can add you as a writer for the publication.
