I’m Scared Of The Consequences Of Having Success And This Fear Is Holding Me Back
The biggest battles you have to win is always the ones you can’t see
You’re probably thinking what kind of idiot would be scared of having success after reading the title of this article.
To be honest, I was thinking the same thing when I was typing that.
But the truth is, that is exactly how I feel and it’s taken me quite some time to actually accept and acknowledge that fact.
Now, how exactly can one be scared of success?
Isn’t success something everybody craves? Why would anyone be scared of it?
Well, I guess for me, it’s the same reason as to why I’m also scared of winning the lottery.
It’s not that I don’t want to win the lottery or that I don’t want success — because I do! (I’d love to have both if you ask me)
But what I’m really afraid of is the person that I may become due to that lottery win or from achieving that success which I do crave.
We’ve all seen how some (while not all but A LOT of) people change drastically after they’ve acquired and tasted success.
