I'm turning 35 this year and have a beautiful wife, an amazing son, and a soon-to-arrive second son in my life.

And yet, I find myself asking myself the same questions as well, "Would my younger self really like what he'd end up being at 35?" and my answer is always, "No, not entirely."

While my family life is more than what I could ever imagine it would be, the other aspects of my life hasn't at all turned out how I wanted it to and it's also because I've always avoided doing the hard work.

No more though, I don't want to turn 60 and look back at my life and regret not doing more, not trying harder, not putting in the work that was required so that I could live the life my younger self would have wanted.

Thank you for this article, it was a beautiful reminder of what I can achieve, only if I'm willing to do what is necessary.

Here's to you making your younger self proud too. :)
