Same thing happened to me too. Published an article on June 8 and immediately got a private note from Sam requesting to submit it to his pub so I did. Totally forgot about it and over a month later, I remembered, checked and it was still self-published.

Removed my submission as well as myself as a writer from the pub. Not worth my time at all.
