Thank you for this, Joe. It was something that I definitely needed to read. I've been writing on here for about 18 months and have only hit just below $600. Most months I'm on between $80 to $120 and it does get very discouraging.

But your story is a great reminder that it is possible to make a good monthly income (my goal was to make $2,000 a month but now I feel like I can aim higher) on Medium and I feel encouraged to really give it my all now.
